October 2008 - Stevie Wonder was the headline artist at the JazzaNova festival in Austria, inaugurating this new event which is
being sponsored by Russian investment and construction conglomerate Inteco. CAMCO amps powered the large line-array system
supplied by rental company artecom Veranstaltungs GmbH & Co.KG.
The event was staged at the Kitzbuhel tennis stadium, where 200 VIP guests, representatives of European high society, Russian
officials and the international business elite mixed with 5000 music-lovers from Austria and Germany.
This free festival, which is intended to become one of the most significant cultural events in Europe, also introduces leading
Russian performers to a European audience. The bill for the one-night event included Irina Otieva, Khor Turetskogo and Sergey
Zhilin and the Phonograph Jazz-Band, alongside American artists Liquid Soul and Brazaville.
Berlin-based rental house artecom Veranstaltungs GmbH & Co.KG provided the sound systems for the JazzaNova event, using the NEXO
GEO technology as the main platform, with CAMCO amplification and Yamaha control at front-of-house and monitors.
