October 2004 - The original star of 'The Phantom of the Opera', and now a British diva in her own right, Sarah Brightman has been
touring arenas in the USA and Europe since the beginning of the year. Carrying full production, a NEXO GEO T and CAMCO rig
provided by Birmingham-based hire company SSE, the tour has criss-crossed the Atlantic and will end the year with more shows in
Front-of-house engineer Colin Bolum describes the sound system as ''the most impressive thing I've ever used.'' System engineer
Mike Rose is just as happy: ''we haven't had a single problem with a CAMCO Vortex 6 in nearly 100 shows. I'd never use GEO T with
anything else, can't see the need to as the match is perfect.''
30x Vortex 6 amps are used to power the GEO T tangent array system, with 4 further amps being used for the subs. Typically, the
system is being used in arenas with up to 12,000-capacity audiences.
